Having played Pong and Space Invaders in his early childhood deciding a future career path was the simplest choice he ever had to make. He created his first graphics on a spectrum 48k at 12 yrs old and soon became addicted to the new interactive media. In 1986 whilst still at school, he ventured into an enterprise with a colleague converting arcade machine graphics for home computers such as Amiga and Spectrum. From 1987 until the present day he has worked for some of the biggest names in the computer games industry including Eidos, Codemasters, Empire and most recently Electronic Arts in Vancouver – taking a leading role as a concept artist, character designer, 3D modeler and texture artist and has also worked closely with production and game design on chart topping games such as Fifa street 1 and 2. In addition to his on-screen skills, over the last 4 years Leigh has been applying his artistic ability to canvas – and working in his old East London studio and now his downtown Vancouver studio has produced a collection of mixed media contemporary artworks which have sold world wide. |
